Why Give Dealing with a downturn in the economy over the these past years has created a $20,000 deficit for Marriage Encounter. Attending couples are asked to give a free-will or value-based donation on a Marriage Encounter. Almost one-half of attending couples are not able to give the requested amount, many giving nothing, which is the ongoing reason we are now $20,000 in debt. Our scholarship fund has covered these couples in the past, sadly that fund has been depleted for some time. Thank you immensely for anything you can give to reestablish this crucial fund. |

Memorial A gift made to Marriage Encounter in memory of a loved one is a sincere way to create a special memorial that will help improve lives today and in the future. Often in the obituary, the family will ask friends, relatives and former colleagues to direct memorial gifts to a favored charity, such as Marriage Encounter. When you make a gift in memory of someone special, the family will receive an announcement of your generosity, telling them that your thoughts are with them at a difficult time. You will receive an official receipt for income tax purposes, along with our heartfelt thanks. When you make a gift in memory, tell us the name of the person who is to be remembered and provide the name and address of the next of kin to receive the sympathy card. Just because . . . Honor the people who matter to you by celebrating a milestone or event through a gift to Marriage Encounter. Anniversaries, weddings, birthdays, graduations, births, retirements, house warming, new job, successful surgery…say “Congratulations!" with your gift of love. Marriage Encounter will send an announcement of your gift to the person being honored. We will send you an official receipt for income tax purposes and a special thank you. When you make a gift in honor of someone, tell us his or her name and the address in order to send an acknowledgement of your gift.
