Volunteer There are a number
of opportunities for volunteer involvement with Marriage Encounter. We
are always adding New Team Couples, looking for people to write prayer
cards, help with grant writing, marketing and a variety of office help - you
name it, we need it. If you are interested in finding out more about
volunteer opportunities with Marriage Encounter, please contact Mary
Jackson, Executive Director either via phone: 651.454.3238 or

Financial Gift
There are many couples who would benefit greatly from our program; however, they
may not attend because of financial difficulties. There is a $100 non-refundable
registration fee and a free-will donation requested on the weekend. We give a
suggested donation, however, we make it very clear on the weekend that the
attending couples pay what they are able to pay. Any donation given over and
above the $100 registration fee is tax-deductible because it is a free-will
donation.
Our scholarship/subsidy fund enables couples who are going through a difficult
time to take advantage of our program at no cost to them. Our intent is to hire
a part-time employee who, together with the director, would oversee the
scholarship/ subsidy program while actively recruiting targeted couples. One
avenue of recruiting would be to work directly with existing organizations that
deal with at-risk-youth in order to offer the program to their parents.
Following are some quotes from couples who attended one of our weekends:
- “Last ditch effort at saving marriage. A place to begin dialogue.”
- “A big Thank You to the team couples for their time, effort &
honesty!”
- “I found the tools to work on my communication issues, I liked the
format. The “team” was great – I appreciated their work & willingness to
share their personal experiences.”
- “I feel closer to my husband than I have ever been. I better understand
the importance of God’s grace in our marriage.”
- “A whole new outlook on our marriage. New ways to communicate.”
- “We are more open towards each other, less afraid to share failures or
thoughts we have had. It has renewed our commitment to our marriage and
helped us to be more supporting.”
- “Reenergized our efforts to improve our marriage. I can’t think of a
better way that we could have spent our time together.”
To make a donation please send a check payable to Marriage Encounter to:
